Terms of Use

Effective 16 October 2026

In short: this website introduces Emerge and lets you book a walkthrough, which commits neither of us to anything. Its demos use a fictional school and sample data. Please use it fairly, do not copy our content, and see the Privacy Policy for how we treat your details.

1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of this website, tryemerge.in (the “website”). By using the website you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

They cover the website only. Using the Emerge product in a school is governed by a separate written agreement between that school and us.

2. Who we are

Emerge is school software being built by a team based in India that also works under the name Harbour AI. Emerge is not yet a registered company; until it is incorporated, the founding team runs this website, and “we”, “us” and “our” in these terms mean that team. When the company is incorporated, it will take our place under these terms. You can reach us at admin@tryemerge.in.

3. What the website is for

The website tells you about Emerge and lets you ask for a walkthrough. Asking for a walkthrough does not create a contract, commit you to buy anything, or commit us to provide anything. We may arrange, reschedule or decline a walkthrough at our discretion.

4. Product information and demos

The demos are illustrative. The screens, videos and figures on the website, such as attendance counts, staff numbers, marks and timetables, show a fictional school with sample data. They are not real people, real schools or real results.

We describe Emerge as accurately as we can, but features, languages, availability and any figures may change as the product develops, and nothing on the website is an offer, a quote or a guarantee of what a particular school will receive. What a school gets is set out in its written agreement with us.

5. Curriculum and other organisations

Emerge works with the curriculum, textbooks and material a school chooses to use. References on the website to classes, subjects, textbooks, practicals or examinations are general descriptions. Emerge is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any examination board, textbook publisher, school or government body. Any names of other organisations belong to their owners.

6. Our content

The website and its content, including the text, design, graphics, videos, and the Emerge name and logo, belong to us or to those who have licensed them to us. Fonts and open-source software are used under their own licences.

You may view the website and share links to it. You may not copy, republish, sell or adapt its content, or use the Emerge name or logo, without our written permission.

7. Using the website properly

When you use the website, please do not:

  • give false details, or book a walkthrough in someone else’s name or with their contact details without their permission
  • send us information about students or other people who have not agreed to it
  • try to break, overload, probe or get around the website’s security, or upload anything harmful
  • use bots or automated tools to scrape the website or fill in its form
  • use the website for anything unlawful

8. Details you send us

When you book a walkthrough or write to us, you confirm that the details are yours (or that you are allowed to share them) and are accurate. We handle them as set out in our Privacy Policy.

10. No guarantees

We work to keep the website accurate, available and secure, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will always be available, free of errors, or suited to a particular purpose.

11. Limits on our liability

The website is free to use. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or loss of data, profit or opportunity, that arises from using the website or relying on it. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

12. Changes

We may change the website or these terms at any time, for example when Emerge is incorporated. The date at the top shows when the terms last changed, and continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the new terms.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. We would always rather resolve a concern directly, so please write to us first at admin@tryemerge.in. Any dispute that cannot be resolved that way will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.

14. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to admin@tryemerge.in.
